At Little Belleville the other night the POWRi Chaplain, Joe Chetta, gave an update at the drivers meeting there. As I recall he said something along the lines that he was in a Hospital in St Louis,and I believe he said that day he was taken out of ICU and put in a regular room.

Thats all I remember him saying. I dont know which Hospital etc.

I went and saw Rich yesterday at the hospital. He was in a regular room and has been fitted for a back brace. At last count there are 10 breaks between his back, neck, ribs, and collarbone. He is still in quite a bit of pain, but is joking around like his usual self. He was able to stand up while I was there so that is great progress. I got word from his wife today that he may go home tomorrow if all goes well and that he has been up moving around a lot more today. He still has a long road ahead of him, but is definitely doing better each day.

I'm sorry, but I don't have an address for cards at this time.

Yes indeed thank you. It was a nasty wreck to see in person and even nastier seeing it on TV. Rich is lucky and hopefully will be back in a car sooner then people think.

They showed it on Wind Tunnel, but it doesn't look like they have it online. It was a bad one. I only caught the last, high endo in person. Glad to hear Rich is in good spirits and will be fine.

I was sitting right in front of it. It was one of the worst midget wrecks I have seen in person.
