Morty inquired the other day about this.
https://www.indianaopenwheel.com/showthread.php?t=63406 At Little Belleville the other night the POWRi Chaplain, Joe Chetta, gave an update at the drivers meeting there. As I recall he said something along the lines that he was in a Hospital in St Louis, and I believe he said that day he was taken out of ICU and put in a regular room. Thats all I remember him saying. I dont know which Hospital etc. |

I went and saw Rich yesterday at the hospital. He was in a regular room and has been fitted for a back brace. At last count there are 10 breaks between his back, neck, ribs, and collarbone. He is still in quite a bit of pain, but is joking around like his usual self. He was able to stand up while I was there so that is great progress. I got word from his wife today that he may go home tomorrow if all goes well and that he has been up moving around a lot more today. He still has a long road ahead of him, but is definitely doing better each day.
I'm sorry, but I don't have an address for cards at this time. |

Yes indeed thank you. It was a nasty wreck to see in person and even nastier seeing it on TV. Rich is lucky and hopefully will be back in a car sooner then people think.

They showed it on Wind Tunnel, but it doesn't look like they have it online. It was a bad one. I only caught the last, high endo in person. Glad to hear Rich is in good spirits and will be fine.

It's part of the wow factor on speed center last week. I think its number 5 (the second one in the video). I was sitting right in front of it. It was one of the worst midget wrecks I have seen in person. |
