I have been chasing the history of an old (probably early 80's) Shores sprint car. Latest info I received is,it was purcased in Kokomo Indiana .Names are not remembered who from but was believed to be a pretty well known driver and/or owner at the time....the car was heading to Mansfield,Ohio. The buyer did remember having to go down a dirt road to get to where the car was and while looking it over, a severe snowstorm cropped up. Just hoping the right eyes may see this and ring a bell..... thanks, rc

a little correction to this statement....it might help....it wasn't a dirt road but an alley....and it was in town....it started snowing when i got there and the next day on the news they said Kokomo,Indiana had 22 inches of snow....so did Findley,Ohio....i like to never got home....lol....(just another old racing story)....i cant remember the drivers name but it was one of Kokomo's bigger names....my name is George Prosser if that helps....hope this information helps.

Thanks for the info George. Hopefully it will sound familiar to somebody. Wonder who was running or driving Shores cars from Kokomo around 1979-80-ish?
