Last night my car was stolen in Rushville. It has since been recovered, but my racing equipment hasn't. This includes:
2 Black Impact Vapor Helmets with Hans Clips
1 Hans Device
1 Impact Racing Bag
1 Pair of nearly Brand new Simpson Shoes
1 pair of Simpson Racing Gloves
1 Raceceiver Radio
A box of RacingOptics Tearoffs
2 pairs of arm-restraints

I think it was someone who really knew the area judging by the place it was recovered. Please keep your eye out for this stuff being sold via internet etc.

Thanks
Tate Martz

I noticed who made this post and my heart sank. I am very sorry to hear this, Tate. It's horrible no matter who it is, but knowing Tate makes it worse.

I really hope they find the scum that did this. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

This is getting beyond ridiculous in many ways. So many of us have had our valuables stolen in the last couple of years. We lost our Ford F-350 and other items, Jimmy Light, Darron Clayton, Davey Hamilton, Casey Shuman, and so many others have had their equipment stolen. Some day, someone is going to find one of these guys and I hope they don't turn them into the authorities until we have our chance with them. We may beat and bang each other on the track but this is still a "Fraternal Order of Racers" and like any Family, we can pick on each other but don't let someone else do it or you have all of us..

Sorry to hear about your loss Tate. I hope your gear is found or at the very least, they find these losers. Keep us all posted.

Best,

Pete G. and the CGR Clan
