I'm guessing no, but it could be streamed live on USAC's website. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

Just checked the USAC site, no mention of any live streaming however it was streamed last year. My best guess is that it will be a day of the race decision.

They have webcast a ton of races this year. More than in years past. But you can't ignore the fact that these tracks depend on having people walking through the gate, in order to make it worthwhile for them to have these events. What are you wanting? Do you expect USAC to conduct an advertising blitz for a week or more leading up to these events? Some people would say "The hell with it, if it's going to be webcast for sure, why should I bother driving to the track?" Especially ones that aren't that close to that track. IMO, that isn't fair to those tracks. Since it's free, I say just hang tight, pay attention to IOW on race night and if the race ends up getting streamed on the net, then great. Our luck was good that day.

Well Jerry, I understand your thinking, but when you have Indiana Midget week, DO YOU REALLY think all the people from Ventura are going to come out here and buy a $20 seat?

NO.

Open wheel racing needs to be saved. One way of doing that is getting it on TV.

Getting the sport on TV gets you noticed.

Getting noticed gets you new fans.

New fans bring more race cars.

More race cars equals larger purses.

Larger purses.....

See the trend?

Jon, if you have the six figures PER broadcast it takes to get on television, you can make that check out to United States Auto Club...

It is NOT going to be in TV it is going to be in the internet
The track gets nothing in return for letting them webcast it
If the locals know they are going to webcast in advance they save their money and stay home
If they stay home the track makes no money
Pretty soon the track cant afford to stay open
Then the sprints/midgets etc have no where to race
SEE THE TREND????

Dean Mills' has posted on his Facebook page that there will be live streaming starting at 7:00PST, 10:00EST on the USAC web site... but gee, some folks just aren't happy unless they're getting something for free.

IMO, any webcast is great, but you won't see me knocking USAC, or anyone else if they do not have a webcast...sheesh.....
