[Cincy Mod Championship]

Devin Gilpin has led the U.M.P. National point standings for most of the year. It would take two wins this weekend to finally capture the lead in the Cincinnati Modified Championship. Gilpin would post wins at both Moler Raceway Park on Friday and Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday. Gilpin became the third driver to have a two win weekend and the first driver with ten wins. Also at Lawrenceburg on Saturday Night Brad Wieck would become the first driver to wrap up a track championship as he claimed his fourth championship at Lawrenceburg. The only C.M.C. action this week will be at Moler Raceway Park on Friday night.
