Dwight was so knowledgeable and contributed so much to IOW. It was always such a pleasure to visit with him at the track.

I don't just miss the contributions, I miss the Guy. As nice in person as he was on the site. Sat and watched a night of racing with him at GC. Great fellow!

Russ, I think of Dwight most every day. I have an IOW.com/Dwight Clock decal on my truck, on the driver's side back window. He was a good man and a fine race fan. Still miss him, too.

If there is bench racing in Heaven, I gotta believe that Dwight is there, holding his own.

Russ,

Thank you for reminding us all of Dwight's birthday. Like Danny I think of Dwight almost every day. I also have a "In Memory of Dwight Clock" decal on my truck. Last week I was picking up some supplies from one of our vendors and the gentleman there asked me who Dwight was. He is a racing fan and had heard of IOW but hadn't checked it out. I told him all about Dwight and he said that he was sorry he never met him.

When my grandson Andrew was first diagnosed with cancer, Dwight was one of the first people to PM me. He offered so much encouragement and was a bright light among so many dark days. He said that if I needed anything to call and let him know. Somehow I am sure he is looking over all of us right now.

This board took a big hit when Dwight passed away. His insight, knowledge and demeanor were so welcome. He respected others opinions even when he didn't agree with what they were saying. Men like him are the ones we all need to look up to.

When my time comes, I hope there is an empty chair within earshot of Dwight. I want to spend some more time talking with him and discussing racing. Happy Birthday my friend. RIP.

Mike
