Last year there was an effort to convert the old Cooper Baseball Stadium in Columbus Ohio to a race track. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the effort got a shot in the arm with Jeff Gordon and John Bickford getting involved. THey mention running sprints at the track.

I'll beleive it when I see it or see Pictures of it. Jeff Gordan involved in something (a race track) that has nothing to do with NASCAR is some way shape or form. Hahahaha show Proof. Good driver not bashing him I just don't see him wasting his money. Come on he lives in Manhatten with his wife last I heard (upscale New York City).

Once Gordon left for Nascrap, he never did anything for the locals. Just put it this way, he sure isn't Tony Stewart when it comes to short track racing.

LOL funny how they didnt show all the abandond buildings south of the stadium, or the hud housing developments adject to the east, or the proximity to the large hispanic gang territory off of eaken road just a half mile south of stadium. And of course the "bottoms" one of poorest areas in the area less than three blocks away. Good Luck!
