Last year there was an effort to convert the old Cooper Baseball Stadium in Columbus Ohio to a race track. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the effort got a shot in the arm with Jeff Gordon and John Bickford getting involved. THey mention running sprints at the track.

Sounds good to me, just not sure about a half mile track.

Once Gordon left for Nascrap, he never did anything for the locals. Just put it this way, he sure isn't Tony Stewart when it comes to short track racing.

LOL funny how they didnt show all the abandond buildings south of the stadium, or the hud housing developments adject to the east, or the proximity to the large hispanic gang territory off of eaken road just a half mile south of stadium. And of course the "bottoms" one of poorest areas in the area less than three blocks away. Good Luck!
