The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum is bringing the Indianapolis 500 winning car from 1939 and 1940 to the Shelby County Fairgrounds for this Saturday's Salute to Wilbur Shaw.

Wilbur Shaw Jr. and racing historian, Donald Davidson will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs.

The car will be on display between 5PM and 7PM behind the grandstand. This is a special treat for the Vincennes University Midwest TQs, because the car is on permanent display at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and rarely leaves the facility

More information about the Vincennes University Midwest TQ Racing League can be found on the website www.mtqrl.com.

Donald Davidson and Gary Lee will keep the crowd entertained. Hopefully Tate, Brett, Jason and the rest of the drivers will put on a show to equal the two legends!

They still have the covered grand stands. This is a cool looking race track. About the same size and shape as Greensburg, but flat and sandy. They promised to water it heavily!

See ya at the track,
