So what's up with "Liquid Lou" Cicconi ?

Lou has his new Streicher-built Munchkin midget FOR SALE having only run it twice at Columbus and Toledo ... Says he will not be at Ft.Wayne , "or any other indoor event , for that matter" .

Lou Cicconi's 600 won the Outlaw Modified Winged Midget race Friday with Charlie Schultz driving. The car blew the engine Saturday.

I asked Lou what was up, and he may be reconsidering.

sounds like frustration. Lou was 1 hard bump away from winning the midget feature Saturday. But he was driving very clean and spun tring to pass. looked like Lou's car had the winged race won too. being so close to winning both shows has to be frustrateing. I will garuntee you this, if Lou shows up to Ft. wayne you will see a show. I still think Stewart has the upper hand, but with Stanbrough, ciconi, and weese being on top of there game he will deffinatly have more compition. Any one else notice Elliot will be in a new munchkin this weekend. Darland back in the 0. I'm ready for both days!!!!!

Joe Loguori will be at Ft. Wayne in the #28 Kenyon Midget as well, Joe has made all three shows so far and hopes to make both Ft. Wayne features.

Not bad for a Kenyon Midget which has about a third of the the horsepower of the other cars ahead of him in the points.
