Circle City Raceway to Host World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models in Inaugural Year

Indianapolis, Indiana: Circle City Raceway officials today announced another exciting event to its already jam packed inaugural 2021 season. For the first time in Series history, the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models will make their appearance inside the city limits of Indianapolis on June 4, 2021. Circle City Raceway will kick off an all Indiana weekend with the Series running in Plymouth, Indiana the following night. The event will include a 40-lap Feature worth $10,000 to the winner.

World of Outlaws Late Models Series Director Casey Shuman said he is “excited to have our Series become part of Circle City Raceway’s inaugural year. I know Jonathan, Kevin and their team will do everything they can to give the fans a great experience, and I think their schedule for 2021 shows how committed they are to that. I look forward to showing those fans a badass show with our World of Outlaws Late Models!”

Circle City Raceway Promoter Jonathan Byrd is ecstatic about the addition to Circle City’s 32-race schedule. He stated, “We are honored to host the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models as our first Late Model race ever at Circle City Raceway. We were shocked to find out the prestigious Series wanted to take a chance on us in our inaugural year and are working around the clock to put together the show that the teams, drivers, staff, and fans deserve.”

Circle City Raceway’s year one goal is to shift focus from one specific class of racing and incorporate as many forms as possible. With the addition of the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series, a diverse fan base will be brought to an area where other forms of racing are predominantly more frequent.

“We are extremely grateful and humbled to host the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models and hope to see the stands packed with fresh and known faces,” Byrd said.
