Dave and I have been friends and raced together for around 30 years,I always root for him. If you haven't met him you should, one of the nicest guys ever in this sport. Shoestring budget, just racing for the love of this sport. Dave won a vintage feature at Montpellier last year. Proud to say Dave Gross is my friend. Watched that kid Clark who drives a racesaver almost put it in the show in his heat and did transfer at a over 30 sprint BOSS show about a month ago. Almost cracked the top ten.
Also seen Dallas Hewitt finish fourth at Eldora with a 305 a few years back.
I have to agree with you guys, Dave is a great guy. I don’t want to sound harsh because I’ve talked to the man and appreciate his commitment but what he’s doing is not racing. I wish he could get enough people on board to have a real vintage car series because I believe he would be the guy who understands how that should be done.
Meanwhile I can’t believe with all the rain we’v taken the track was blowing dust in hot laps.
And finally, just to make sure everyone understands, I have nothing but good things to say about the man Dave Gross
What do you mean “ not racing”?? He pays the same as everyone else to race . He passed cars,,, last time I checked that was racing.... not sure what you are trying to say.
