The 1st ever Summer Sizzler Modified Series will come to a close this weekend with 2 big stops on the tour remaining. Saturday night Sept. 6th the cars and stars of the Summer Sizzler will be buring up the track at Soggy Bottom Raceway in Morgantown, KY with a $2.000 payday to the winner. General admission at Soggy Bottom will remain at $10.00 and pit admission at $25.00.

The nights events will include- Hot Laps, Single Lap Qualifying, Heat Races, Consi and A main.

During regular season action last week at Soggy Bottom McHenry, KY's Shawn Simpson racked up his 3rd win on the season at the 3/8 mile speedplant in preperation to this weekends Sizzler event.

Sunday Sept 7th the Summer Sizzler Modified Series will roll northbound and hammer down to Owensboro, KY to Windy Hollow Speedway. The Final stop on the 2008 tour will take place at Windy Hollow paying the winner $1,500 after battling for unique 3/8 mile "D" shaped hot bed for speed. Drivers who have not attended this speedway for several years will be supprised when they see the re-vamp that has taken place. New lighting, turn 3 and 4 wall and massive clean-up has taken place this season. The track surface has also been reworked.

Sundays festivities will kick off with Pit gates opening at 1pm a single lap qualifying session, heat races, consi and A main feature event. The top 3 in series points will be honored track side with a trophy presentation.

This will mark the first time in 2 years the UMP Modifieds have been in action at WHS.

Admission for Windy Hollow will also remain the same with general admission at $8.00 and pits $25.00
