Anyone else know his connections? I think I do. Just sayin. Hope they bought it, instead of leasing, if they did, they'll be better off, JMHO! Bob

Who is his connection? Guarantee the owner probably won't lift a finger on improvements. He is getting his lease check so why should he? Place could definitely be an awesome place with improvements.

Well shucks, but a guy can hope I guess, what's that famous line we've heard, hope and change, maybe it'll work here, I'd like to see it under new ownership, I think that's where the big problem lies, I sure wouldn't put the money it's gonna take, to get that track in "pristine" shape again, and not own it, and I do love to run there, and as far as my opinion goes, it is the place to watch sprint car racing, to me it was the place to race, or be a "pine knot"! Thanks for the info! Bob

Is this guy related to Ray Tabata?

Yes, as it was explained to me Friday, I used to buy a lot of flathead stuff off of Ray, he always had good stuff, most of it new, because he spent a lot of money, being current. This gentleman says he has breakfast with him, usually on Monday's, so he's gonna get more info, if possible. Bob!
