44 Sprints, Five heats, two b's and a featch. Lots of great racing.
Feel bad for JJ Hughes who was running top five on a restart and I don't know what happened but seen him do a perfect ballet twirl on his tail tank and land on all fours. Put him on the tail but was able to continue.

I don't know what happened, Hewitt was leading the whole race but Weir had something for him. The 77 Doms Gulf car also going good. Hear comes Boyles and all three of em are jumping each other's wheels. Always been a fan of the Hazen 57. Not sure I like this guy.

TMez i believe ran Brownstown and headed up, DIdn't see him hotlap but started 8th in the third heat and transfered in forth, Started way back in the feature and finished fourth.

Thanks to Montpelier, Boss etc for running the show. It was cold but fun. Probably my last live sprint race for the year. Not handling the cold like I used too.

Got off work at 5:15. No way I could have made the heats. Looks like a lot of passing with 3 guys in the top 5 starting 14,17,18.

Made the trip from Shawano WI. Our plan was USAC at Terre Haute, that got rained out.
Stayed in Indy friday night heard Eldora was running in the moring, so we thought the double was possible.
Got to the big E in time watched the entire friday show. Loaded up to head To Montpelier am I glad we did, Never been there before. Great show that moved along at a good pace. Intermission was a little long, but the support classes went green 1st time past the flagstand. LOVE THAT Wish there was a one spin rule in the heats. Will definitely be back. BOSS show was very good, love the format.

I was there and no one had anything for Dallas Hewitt, especially Weir who was fading badly in last 10 laps. Suspect he was having some type of issue. As far as JJs red flag which should have been a yellow, there were at least 4 cars that came together in that 1st turn restart. The 57 car was restarting in the 4th position after starting 17th. JJ was also in the top 5. It was unfortunate, but it would be difficult to blame it on any particular driver.

Just out of curiosity, what was the tire rule? I saw some with Hoosiers and some with American Racers. On the RR, too. I was expecting a spec RR, at least. I looked at the BOSS website under "Rules" but there is no mention of tires. Not even an OPEN tire rule.

First sentence in the rules......

The BOSS tour has been designed to bring back old school “outlaw” racing where drivers are encouraged to bring their cars out without having to worry about membership fees, tire rules, and weight rules.

There is no tire rule, However to be eligible for free tire to highest finisher of each, they must have that brand on all four corners.
