A word to the wise, especially if you're arriving from the west via US 50. The local police are strictly enforcing speed limits through the city. Noticed this a.m. on our way to Bob Evans (stove still broke :wink) one of the 'Burg's finest on a motorcycle with radar gun in hand. Have seen lots of folks pulled over of late. Also plan on a $139.50 outlay should you be caught blocking an intersection. That may seem like a "no-brainer" but with the new bridge construction underway several of the side streets formerly heavily used are now closed. If you're not careful you may find yourself suddenly stopped in an intersection due to a red light 2 blocks away.

Coming from the west on I-74? Indiana 1 still closed from Pella Crossing to Greendale.

Just didn't want any of my IOW buds going home too light in the hip pocket. :checkered:

Glad to see you and the Sword Man last night. He was pretty wound up there for a while and I am sure that Grandpa had a nice ride home.:wink I am sure he slept the whole way to Columbus.

When Checker'd Past stopped by for a visit, we had all three of the above mentioned right there together. I will predict by next year this time that the Sword Man will be the tallest of the three.:idea: He doesn't have far to grow for that to be a reality.:O: It just shows what good farm living will do for you.
