MTS Sprint Series heads to Crystal Motor Speedway for the Great Lakes Nationals.

Crystal Motor Speedway hosts the MTS Sprint Series 2009 final championship point night.
Steve Irwin holds a commanding lead over second place and last year’s champion Mike Galadja. Keith Love and Mike Burkin hold down third and fourth place just behind the defending champ. Flat track motorcycle and modified veteran Roger Hunyady looks to try and wrap up the 2009 MTS rookie of the year honors.

In the first visit to the Crystal speedway in 2009 Steve Irwin was able to hold off butler regular Mark Broughman and Ohio’s Landon Simon for the victory. Drivers from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Canada look to Challenge Irwin and the rest of the Michigan drivers at the final MTS event of the 2009 season.

Pit Gates open at noon Hotlaps at 3:00 Racing at 5:00 – Tons of racing with 7 total classes – also racing –IMCA Mods, Late Models, ProStock, StreetStock, FlinnStock and Pro Truck. !! Free Camping available !!
