No better time to talk about the Hut 100 (thanku NSSN!); does anyone have the full results to this race? The searches I led brought me to the full season results (which were released a couple years ago); but for that year I was only able to find the sprint cars (which was GREAT, I spent plenty of time reading thru that...).

(Really was somewhat of the breakout year for Tony...won in USAC Sprints & midgets that season...i'm not sure how many national wins he had before that?)

All GREAT links (with LOTS of info, below. I just don't see the full rundown from that race...)

It was one of the best times in USAC racing...I'm glad I got to read about it weekly in NSSN and see some of it on occasion!

I thought they always got 60 cars until now. It was a pretty good race that day. Page Jones was exciting in a midget.

I think this might have been the year they had starters on the the midgets. If so the car count were down.

We ran it in 03ish. Dad (Ken Dull) finished one spot away from making the 33 in one of the Bs (I think there were two). I'm gona guess (i'll look it up later) but I'm gona say 45ish cars that year.

Did they run starters all year long or just on pavement?

I believe they ran them all season, dirt and pavement. I think it only went the one season.
