Hi guys,

My weekend plans are Bloomington Speedway on Friday, April 18th and Montpelier Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 19th. I will be driving down from Canada (basically Detroit). I've been to almost every dirt track in Indiana except these two. I will be standing in the infield so seating isn't a concern.

I know Eldora has USAC on Saturday, in two weeks I start shooting at my local track every Saturday so I try to use April to shoot a new to me tracks. I love pizza burgers and the feel at Eldora just like everyone else.

All that being said. Anything a rookie might miss at both of those tracks or anything in between! Thanks in advance, can't wait to see some non wing on dirt!

Bloomington is a beautiful place. Love the layout of the track. Racing wasn't great when I went last year for IMW but I was told that I went on an "off night".

Picture perfect setting with red clay. Best ice cream anywhere.

James,

Just an FYI. Montpelier will be running midgets but there won't be any sprints on the program. A great midget track and I am looking forward to getting there this year since they did a renovation project over the winter. Safe travels and enjoy.

I get why your going to Bloomington But Gas City and Montpilier are very close with several heavy hitters to hit GC before Eldora.

But gas city runs on Friday night too. Montpelier is on Saturday.

Thanks Chuck! Looking like Eldora makes the most sense for me!
