When I was racing bikes I used to work with the promotors and talk them into having a Race Against Hunger nite. Give folks a buck or two off admission if they bring in a bag of non perishable foods. You work with the local hunger bank in advance, and I promise the track gets some good free press. The local paper usually will run a nice little article in advance. It really does help the community and track relations. Just something to think about,
