Dave Gross is a model for racers that want to have fun at this sport. Dave supported SCORA the last half of the 2009 season and it was always a pleasure to see him show up. He raced and enjoyed himself and did not cause anyone any problems. His positive attitude helped alot of other people enjoy their race nights. Thanks Dave and it was a pleasure to get to know you. Dave Gross is what racing is all about!!! Not only is he a big supporter our series but I am a huge fan of his. He and his group are always welcome at all of the SCORA events. I am so glad that I got to become friends with him this season and he is a valued member of the S.C.O.R.A family.

One of the high lights for me this year was at Charleston Speedway when I was able to call him out and hand him the hard charger award during the drivers meeting for his efforts from the week before at Chandler. That was a huge honor for me!!!!!!

I want to give a big thank you to Jackslash for this piece. you couldn't have found a more deserving guy!!!!! John Gurley

A large shout out to SB for catching up with a grassroots racer like Dave Gross. It's guys like Dave that help keep the sport we love alive today!
