MACON, Ill. – DynaGraphics and ILMO combine to sponsor one of the special nights of the season when MOWA sprint cars invade Macon Speedway for an open-wheel extravaganza of power and speed on the famous fifth-mile high banked dirt oval on Saturday, July 26. The racing isn’t the only attraction, because DynaGraphics will hold a drawing for a voucher worth $500 toward any product in its line, including a vehicle wrap.

The best winged sprint car drivers in the Midwest will try to tame the Macon bullring as the Midwest Open Wheel Association holds MOWA Sprint Week. Macon Speedway is the fourth and final stop in the four-day run as MOWA crowns a sprint week champion. MOWA Sprint Week begins at Highland (Ill.) Speedway on July 23, followed by Tri-City Speedway in Pontoon Beach on July 24 and Jacksonville Speedway on July 25. Heading into a busy July race season, Jerrod Hull of Sikeston, Mo., led the MOWA standings, followed closely by Joey Moughan of Springfield, A.J. Bruns of Lincoln, Chris Urish of Elkhart, Jeremy Standridge of Springfield and Korey Weyant of Springfield.

A Decatur-based company, DynaGraphics specializes in signs, printing and wraps, and it will show off its products before a lucky contestant wins a prize package valued at $500 from a giveaway during the racing program. The voucher will be good toward any wrap, sign, graphics project or printing by DynaGraphics, 3220 N. Woodford St., Decatur. The staff at DynaGraphics can take it from there. Full vehicle wraps are a good way to decorate cars, ATVs, boats and trailers.

ILMO Products Co. is a single-source provider of industrial, medical and laboratory gases in bulk, micro-bulk, cryogenic and cylinder solutions. Additionally, ILMO offers bulk and residential propane, welding and safety equipment, industrial supplies and accessories, and welder rental and repair services. Besides the MOWA sprint cars, Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Street Stocks, Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornets and the Illinois Lightning Sprint Series will also race. Pits open at 3 p.m. while grandstands open at 5 with racing at 7.

This will be the only appearance 410 winged sprint cars will make at Macon Speedway. If you have never seen Macon before, a great chance to do so. 410's are silly fast on the 1/5 high banks.

The young phenom Christopher Bell plans on running the entire MOWA Sprint Week. Be sure to check out this talent that has the eyes of NASCAR owners now and see one of the sports rising stars take on the 1/5 mile bullring in a 410 sprint car.

Brady Bacon also is planning on running the whole tour from what I seen. Brady is always exciting in midgets and non winged sprints, and has been fast when he does run the wing.

Just SOME of the exciting drivers who have Macon on their schedule for the ONLY appearance for winged sprint cars for 2014 on the schedule.

From Macon's website:

Bell, Bacon bring more star power to Macon Speedway during MOWA Sprints Saturday

MACON, Ill. – It’s a big night for Macon Speedway when DynaGraphics and ILMO present the MOWA Sprints Saturday. Not only will the legendary fifth-mile high-banked oval hosting sprint cars for the only time this season, but rising stars will be making their way to the famed speedway.

Christopher Bell*rides*the fast track up the ladder while standing second in the POWRi midget points and scored his first victory in a World of Outlaws sprint car feature this season. He’s been called The Next Big Thing, and he just might be the guy to follow Kyle Larson from the dirt track world to a hot NASCAR ride. Brady Bacon is an ace who knows how to drive midgets and sprint cars. He won at Macon Speedway in a POWRi car last season.

Macon Speedway will serve as the final event in the MOWA Sprint Week.

Racing is just part of the big show. DynaGraphics will hold a free drawing for a $500 voucher toward any product in its line, including a vehicle wrap. ILMO Products Co. will give away coupons to ticket holders for a free pair of OSHA approved sunglasses at any of their 10 stores.

A Decatur-based company, DynaGraphics specializes in signs, printing and wraps, and it will show off its products before a lucky contestant wins a prize package valued at $500 from a giveaway during the racing program. This MAY become the Sprint Week finale depending on if Jacksonville can reschedule for Sunday or not.
