It’s with a heavy heart that I share the passing of Steve Bixler. He was a long time sprint car racer, and supporter. Steve was the kind of guy that never met a stranger at the track, and would help anyone he could. Few open wheel races were held at Lawrenceburg Speedway that Steve was not in attendance for. He will be missed by many.

Please keep his family in your prayers this holiday season.

Rest easy Steve.

Steve was the first guy I met the first night I took a car to the track. We’d became best friends. RIP buddy.
