Tyler Hewitt finished behind Darland in 9th. He messed up early in turn 3 and lost about 7 spots.

Mike Miller led the first lap, T-Mez led the next 23 laps and had a big lead with less than a lap to go, then the yellow came out. Cottle took the lead on the last turn by driving right down by the tires. T-Mez had momentum on the outside, but didn't pass Shane until just after the finish line. Shane Cottle only led for about a 100 yards in the whole race, but it was in the last 100 yards. It would not have been possible without the yellow. It was a very exciting finish, but the real battle was between Cottle and Boyles for 2nd place most of the race. It was a very entertaining race. Travis Hery won B-Main and went from 16th to 8th. Young Evan Mosley continued to improve, finishing 2nd in B-main and 13th in feature. Sterling Cling the Arizona driver was 10th in his first sprint car race at Gas City. Andretti drove a smart race to finish 4th passing Miller at the finish line.
