It's RACE DAY. And one of the great race days of the year as the POWRi Midgets and Micros come to Jacksonville to join the 305 Sprints and Street Stocks.

Grandstands open at 5:00 and we will again be doing our pre-race pit walks for our grandstand fans. Bring your Driver's License to the pedestrian pit entrance by staging and you can roam the pit area until hot laps start at 6:15. There will be a lot of cars in the pits under power, so please be extra alert and keep an eye on any youngsters you bring.

Admission is $15 with High School and younger Free. Anyone with a Drivers License from Adams County gets in for $10 this week.

Pit gates open at 3:30. Grandstands 5:00. Hot Laps 6:15. Racing at 7:00.

We want to commend the Jacksonville Speedway staff on a very, very good show. Your POWRi show was a great experience for our group. Very efficiently run show, GREAT racing.

It's been several years since we've attended an event at J-ville but I assure you we'll be back!

Thank you. I for sure can't remember having to shuffle ambulances like we did last night for non-racing related issues. It's kind of humbling to think of the support you have around you when you have a 2nd ambulance leave to come to the track as soon as the one at the track has to respond to a potential transport situation - twice. It looks good on the promoter to be able to show off what looks like great organization when those kinds of things happen, but we are at the mercy of others - and thankfully a whole bunch of "others" go out of their way to support the place.

Tommy and Hank have the track prep dialed in for midgets and that's what lets laps like we saw at the end of the feature last night happen. Thanks for coming and for your comments. Hope to see a few more of your for our POWRi Speed Week show in a few weeks.
