I remember his Mini Champ and jet ski racing days. My mom and dad helped Mace Thomas build his first Mini Champ. Years later, I helped Mace rebuild the same Mini Champ to put in his museum. He actually got his car racing start in the NAMRA Mini Champ series. That was the class that led to f440 and f500 cars.
