I purchased a chassis from an individual in Illinois that he says is a J&J. It is a bar front, coil rear car.
Any info, history and set up advice would be greatly appreciated.

This is Bill Rose. I drove a car just like this for Scott Benic years back. If you need any information. Contact Scott at Benic Enterprises. He can help you out.

I know it's not what you want to hear but chassis are cheap, so if you actually plan on racing go find a car like everyone else. Even new XXX can be had for around $2K. I'd think you could find a used one for half.
And once you've mastered that and want to try an oddball car drag out the old car

I have to agree with motorhead748 if you plan on racing this thing and you don't really know how it works or what it needs then find another chassis like everyone else. I build a 4 coil car a few years ago and while I made it work okay I was all alone trying to figure it out. I love being different but if your not into that and you want to race without a lot of issues and struggle get a 4 bar car and go have fun. I can tell you one thing for sure you will be able to get a ton of forward bite with a coil car but you have to figure out how to slow the coil reaction with shocks.

Mark Keegan out of Ohio ran one for a year I believe. I was told J&J made about 5 of them one year. He won in it just like every year but only ran it a short time. I have one that has been converted into a 4 coil car by Beast. He might be the best resource.

Sell it to someone that wants to build a street legal sprint and move to the standard configuration sooner than later.. You may get more than you paid for because of it being streetable .
