Read the rules of the site or go away.
And for facts, More people attend short track racing. Sprints, Midgets, LM's Mods, Street stocks. IN ONE WEEKEND. Than a entire season of INDYCAR and NASCAR combined.

Yet you fail to mention it was Cart and their franchise rules etc that went under. Not Irl.

Kla, you shouldn't get so worked up. The fact you have to resort to inappropriate language is proof that in fact you are not the smartest man in the room, or chat room in this case. The facts, in spite your attempt to slander them, remain the same. The greatest wheelmen of all time have been produced by the ranks of sprints, midgets, and silver crowns. And if you can't see that, then you are even more disillusioned then your posts have led us to believe, or you know nothing about the history of our sport.

I would once like to see the shoe on the other foot and have "Indy Car" guys show up at Knoxville or Eldora and see if they can make the show, heck they wouldn't make a 305 show on a regular Saturday night let alone the Nationals or Kings Royal. I bet they would soil them selves in fear at the moment they first drop the green flag. Silver spoons creates uneducated opinions. It took Jackie Stewart one moment at Eldora strapping into a non running sprint car to change his mind!

As I recall BC has run Indy Lights races, and done well, started an Indy 500 as well as NASCAR (Busch or Nationwide whatever it was called at that point) so it is not like he has no experience with high speed machines. As for having not run any pavement races this year that is a valid point. However, every year there are drivers who show up at Indy and that is the only race they run the entire year.

Eddy and Scott are right! Those American circle trackers just can't adapt to the rear-engined cars... looking back over the years, we can see, historically, how poorly they have done. Good examples of this are: Parnelli, Roger Ward, Bobby Marshman, Lloyd Ruby, Al Sr, Bobby Unser, A J, Mario, Gordie Johncock, Johnny Rutherford, Tom Sneva, Al Jr, Jim McElreath, Billy Vukovich Jr, Pancho Carter etc... all of these guys really embarrassed themselves at Indy ..... didn't they????
