I was just going to post this news. I heard about it from the source: http://www.coastal181.com/books_we_are_building.htm I've known Bones for many years, and I can promise he will do an outstanding job. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Unlike many of you, I've only been a real DD fan for a few years. It started when he got fired from his midget ride for being "too old." As a guy still trying to make a living at my trade while getting well along in years, I had great sympathy for his position. I thought it was great that he continued to win as he has since then.

To bad someone wouldnt do a book on my neighbor up the street a mile or so (AJ Watson) or my neighbor just outside my back window (Willie Davis) Both are National Sprint Car Hall of Famers,and not getting any younger.........

I'm very excited this is happening and can't wait to read it. Recently Bones Bourcier co-wrote Parnelli Jones' autobio, and it was a great read.

My family loves Dave - my grandson's middle name is David, and that is most definitely for The People's Champ!
