*** Inaugural 600cc Non-Wing World Championship set for May 23-26, 2018 at Circus City Speedway! ***

Peru, Indiana (Nov. 1, 2017) – Curt Bullick and the entire staff at Circus City Speedway are excited to announce the Inaugural 600cc Non-Wing World Championship to be held May 23-26, 2018 at Circus City Speedway in Peru, Indiana. Participants will compete for a share of a whopping $40,000 purse that will be spread across 3 nights of racing.
The 4 day event will begin on Wednesday, May 23 with an open practice session for all participants. Racing begins on Thursday, May 24 with a full program paying $1000 to the winner, and locking the top 3 finishers into Saturday night’s $10,000 to Win-World Championship Main Event. Racing will resume on Friday, May 25 with an entire new program also paying $1000 to the winner. The top 3 from Friday night’s event will also lock themselves into Saturday night’s $10,000 to Win-World Championship Main Event.
Consistency from both Thursday and Friday’s preliminary events will also be rewarded. The top 2 in combined points from both Thursday and Friday will lock themselves into positions 7 and 8 for Saturday night’s $10,000 to Win-World Championship Main Event.
The final 12 positions for Saturday’s World Championship will be filled from an entire new program. Each participant will again start from a clean slate, and work their way through a series of preliminary events to determine the final 12 starting positions. A minimum of $500 will be awarded to every participant starting Saturday night’s 50 lap Non-Wing World Championship Main Event.
Details concerning sponsors, rules, payout, format, parking, accommodations, etc. will be continuously released as they are finalized. The Circus City Speedway Website is currently under construction and will be updated with all Non-Wing World Championship information.
