When my youngest son started running a micro I made sure to get a coil front car due to preference. At the time, we were the only coil front micro in our area, everyone was running 4 bar cars. Some told us we will never be competitive with a coil car, now there are many running coil front cars.
The only 4 bar car we have run was our nonwing sprint car. I didnt really find alot of difference to be honest. Whether coil or torsion, it still comes down to understanding how, where, and when the weight transfers.
