I just got off of the phone with Bobby Layne from out in Kansas and he wanted to know was the race in Du Quoin still a go. I told him as far as I knew it was.

If Bobby is going to be there I guess We will have to show up, We can always use a few more driving and set up lessons.

Do we have any updates out their?

It is still a go From what I have been hearing. I know a few of the drivers from MMSA are going.

Indoor Midget Race at DuQuoin March 15th
Mike Cromwell has secured the use of the Southern Illinois Center in DuQuoin, IL for an indoor racing event. The event will be held on Sunday March 15th, 2015. The gates will open at 8am CST with Hot Laps to begin at 10am CST.
The following classes are on the schedule:
Jr Sprint
Winged Restricted
NON Winged Restricted
A Class
Non wing A Class
Open Outlaw Winged
Open Outlaw Non Winged
Midget
Lightning Sprints
The Midget payout will be based on the POWRi West payout and Chili Bowl rules are in effect for the Midget class. Payouts in all other divisions will be a progressive payout based on car count. Rules will be posted in the next couple of weeks. Pre-registration is open at www.midwestindoornationals.com. Fill out the form and an email will be sent to you with an invoice.
Car entry fees for all classes will be $50, Pit Passes will be $20 and indoor reserved 10’x20’ pit stalls are available on a limited first come first served basis for $40.
Mike is working on securing a guaranteed purse for all the other classes at this event as well. Any company or individual who may be interested in sponsoring this event can call Mike at: 816-398-2219 for more information on available packages.
In addition to this event Cromwell is also running a National Go Kart Race in the days leading up to this event allowing the JR. Sprints to be able to run multiple days in the same trip.
If you are looking for a car to rent for this race, Johnny Murdock has midget cars for rent for this event.
More details will be released as they become available as there are many more things being worked on for this event at this time.

Were looking at bringing a couple of our cars down for this show , still waiting to see the rules and etc .
the track at DuQuoin was amazing in the early Feb showdown .

The way I read it was USAC PowerI National rules. PowerI west pay out.

It says Chili Bowl rules......but I also saw on Facebook that they are having an insurance issue. Not sure whats going on or how it will effect the rules or the payout. That is for the midget portion at least.......
