Jeff had a throttle stick at Spartan Speedway tonight hitting another car, Jeff was sent to hospital Sparrow I believe in Lansing. Chest pains led to the discovery of a cracked Sternum, the car was pretty tore up, say a prayer for a quick recovery & keep Jeff & Linda in mind.

Jeff, what a neat guy you are and always have been. A staple in the great sport. And a hard worker. Church is tomorrow and we all we be praying. God is good, Jeff is good.

Sorry to hear that! It seems like Jeff has been racing since they invented the wheel! He was a mainstay back in the glory days of USAC on pavement. Praying for a speedy recovery!

Jeff is one tough dude.... We were racing at Berlin and he told me he had a broken rib from something. I sent my fiancé over who works in the medical field to just say hi, and make sure he was ok.... He was like "ehhhh I'm fine, just a broken rib I'm good to race".

They don't make many guys like that anymore! Get well soon Jeff!

From Linda Bloom: (7-29-16, 9:30 PM) Jeff has a broken sternum. Getting x-rays on his knees right now. Staying overnight so they can do a comparison cat scan to make sure there is no internal bleeding overnight.
