I don't get why you put non-points races on your schedule? You would think at a minimum make them show up points only then I could see putting it on the schedule.

Is this the old WAR series rebranded?

This is not the old WAR series. This series split off from WAR several years ago. It appeared that WAR wanted to grow regionally and MWRA wanted to stay closer to the Kansas City base. When you take out the co-sanctioned races, all of the regular races are an easy day trip from KC.

The red co-sanctioned races are with WAR and are further away from KC.

Both WAR and MWRA have hard core teams that will only race for one or the other sanction. There is a third group that will race with both. From a bleacher creature perspective there is not much difference between the two shows and I will support them both.

I guess it is all depends on where you start from.

Lucas Oil and Lake Ozark are usually 2.5 to 3 hours for me. Also both tend to do a lot of farming at intermission which can drag a show well past midnight.
