The 9th Annual Racers Reunion Banquet in Irving, Texas will be held on November 10. This year’s topic is Men Who Changed Racing.

The all-day event includes presentations about the amazing careers of Mike Curb, Harry Miller and, Sam Nunis. Very special guest Mike Curb will sit down with Dave Argabright and discuss his involvement in racing for the last 40 years. Harold Peters, the founder, and publisher, of the Miller Offenhauser Historical Society will be sharing colorful and fascinating stories of Miller’s rise to the pinnacle of motorsports is a story. Tales of Slippery Sam Nunis will also be told about the Promoter of all Promoters! Stories about Nunis will be shared from interviews with John Cooper, Mario Andretti, A.J. Foyt, Joie Chitwood, Jr. and many others!

Also included with the ticket is a tasty dinner, plenty of bench racing and an autograph session. The all-day pass gives participants a chance to experience the best Vintage Racing event in America and see a group of beautiful vintage race cars and memorabilia on display.

Bill Blaylock will be presenting a special segment about racers we have lost in the last 12 months. Kevin Triplett will be interviewing the recipient of the Brady Bacon Award. An award Bacon hands out each year to a new up and comer. Last year’s honoree Giovanni Scelzi won the Chili Bowl Rookie of the Year, then joined the ranks of the touring World of Outlaws Craftsmen Sprint Car Series and became the series’ youngest winner.

Tickets, photos of previous events and event details are at www.RadiusNation.net.

Attached is my personal favorite photo from the event. It is from 2015 when we featured a Lloyd Ruby Roundtable which was made up of Cary Agajanian, Johnny Rutherford and Donald Davidson. The helmet on the stool represented Ruby, it is the helmet he wore in the 1969 Indy 500. The helmet was presented to Ruby family at the conclusion of the event.

Come see us, you won’t be disappointed.
