If Kokomo didn't have a race this weekend the same people would be ******** about it . If you don't like the way the O'conners run their track stay the hell home and let the racers and fans enjoy it and be thankful they are able to have a 2 day race to end the season . .

Thank you to the Kokomo promoters for putting on this race. I love that place.
Stars may regret that they agreed to co sanction next year's races at Grundy with USAC. If none of the USAC cars show up, what's in it for STARS?

Man, if kart racers worried about paying an entry fee when they got to the track the racing world would be missing out on a talented pool of drivers.... If you hit big events your looking at $100 and up per class, and if you dont make the show you go home, no show money, no "B" main money, nothing. Plus instead of having 28-40 cars to worry about you may have 200, all as good as you or better, you get 6-12 laps of quals and if your not in the top 20 your done. An extra $20 isn't a big deal. Oh, and for us mid-western guys the close races were 6 hours away, up to 13-14 hours away. Some of the 12 hour drive races we went to we raced for a trophy... When we started racing sprint cars it was a bonus to not have an entry fee on top of a pit pass.
