BOSS Tire Rule Amended for 2020. Winners Tire Bonus Added Back!

The BOSS tire rule will still require Hoosier Racing Tires on all 4 corners. The front and left rear compounds remain open to any commercially available Hoosiers. On the right rear ONLY, teams will be required to run one of the following: Medium, H15, H20 or RaceSaver Spec.

There will be a 5 race burn off period for teams who have open compound right rear Hoosiers. This burn off period is good through five COMPLETED events in 2020.

We are attempting to help teams reduce their tire bill and avoid having an excessive amount of different compounds to be competitive. By allowing the H15 and H20, winged race teams will be able to compete without purchasing the specific "medium" required by most non wing tracks and tours.

Hoosier Tire Midwest, Inc. returns as a tour sponsor and will once again provide one free right rear tire to EVERY team in the top 15 standings who competes for the season championship. At completed event number 4, the top 3 in points will get their free tire. At each event thereafter, the next in line according to points will be awarded their free tire.

In addition, the feature winners of each event will also be awarded a free tire from Hoosier and the BOSS tour. We want to thank Neil Cowman and Hoosier for giving away a record number of tires to celebrate our 10th season!
