Other than the USAC "Regulars" who all is heading west to run these 2 shows? Should be a really good show at both tracks.

Hopefully it will be a nice field of cars for both nights. If memory serves me correctly, this event has been PPD the last two times?
We"ll be there for both nights and on to Duquoin as well.

Have not seen non-wing at Pevely, but watched the WOO there for the IronMan. When I arrived, I thought it was strange that people had ski goggles and breathing masks with them. I had my safety glasses with me and thought I would be fine. By the end of the A main, I had taken my hat off to guard my face.

When I go back, I will definitely have something to protect my face. It was the dirtiest I had ever been at a dirt track.

I'm curious about this as well. With there being a MOWA show that night too it's possible some guys could try to run both if they had enough help/time, to bring 2 cars. Possibly Joe B. Miller running both? Zach Daum? Brady Bacon? KTJ? Carson Short?

Seeing how much the wing cars use up the track at Tri-City on their own, i'm concerned that it's going to take rubber early and often. Hopefully it's juiced up but more than anything, just hoping for racing up on the fence and passing. Slick can be fine as long as it's not a freight train.

I would have to give Bacon a little bit of an advantage going into this race. With how well he's running in his own equipment and having raced at the 3/8ths in his 99 wing car a few times, as well as the midget.

$6000 to win back to back nights so close together, I would think there should be a few more show up - but the USAC regs will put on a show at these two excellent facilities regardless

Windom has non-wing experience on the new configuration of Granite.
