No, it was not the Indy race. IMO Napcar does not want a longer season, I know the driver's all want a shorter one. The people that built Ky don't own it anymore. Bruton Smith of Charlotte fame owns it now and has moved one of his races from Atlanta to Ky.

I wouldn't go even if I was promised to be escorted to the track, had an all expense paid suite and got to wave the green and checkered flags.....

I would rather host a bunko night at our house for my wife and all her friends...........

I would rather go to a NAACP rally........

I heard that there will be a Nationwide race at KY on 7/8, which would be the same time as ISW at the 'burg? If so, it may keep the NASCAR Goobers away from the sprint car race. Goody.

BTW, Cincinnati's Carol Williams on WCPO Channel 9 news last night reported that KY Speedway was finally getting the SPRINT CAR race they have been hoping for.

If you are a citizen of Indianapolis or Speedway you should care a lot. The Brickyard pours 20-30 Million dollars into the local economy. That equates to good roads, good schools, etc....

Your Diehard fans are going to go where ever. I.E. the diehard sprint car fans will be at the burg. Now where it hurts the burg.... KY Speedway is know for giving away tons of free tickets for races or even selling them really cheap. The average race fan is going to grab the free tickets and go to the napcar show. The good thing, the schedule is in usacs hands so we know it will get screwed up. Actually my main thought or comment on this topic, isw is always changing. Changes tracks, changes dates, why worry about it now? lot of races between now and then.
