Thank you to all the fine USAC drivers, car owners, crew and officials that visited the Wilmot Raceway this past Saturday night. Seeing what I refer to as normal sprint twenty minutes from home was a treat for both my daughter Dana and myself. Thought KT jr. was going to get his first but Stanbrough showed why he is as good as he is. Normally we make the trip to Indiana this is why this race was special. You are all to be commended for making the long haul, putting up with miles of construction and of course the dreaded Chicago traffic.
Talked with the Leer bunch before the races they are really committed to this championship for Stanbrough. Watching Dave Darland is always a treat and Cottle did a great job finish third. How do I get shirts from these three I don't beleive we'll get to see another USAC show do to lack of cash. Again thanks to all those racing at Wilmot.
