THANK YOU! A huge Thank you to all of you that joined us on our season opener May 5th!
We are addressing our struggles and short comings from that night. It has been a trying task to get things going when the facilities haven't been in use for almost a year. And somethings you just don't know there is an issue until it goes on for full usage.
1) Loop system - a system that tested fine earlier in the week, but do to rainfall Saturday decided to malfunction. This will be upgraded to prevent this from happening again.
2) PA system that is under repairs as well.
And various other growing pains.
Now onto the positive side......
1) Maverick Sprint Car Series brought in some great drivers!
2)The fairgrounds upgrades to the water system will improve track condtions.
3) The stands were filled more than they appeared, the seating area is huge being a half mile. We are pleased with the turnout and plan to continue working to get those attendance numbers up.
4) And remember to hold on to those General admission bands for a free upgrade on June 23 on the Maverick Mayhem Week Finale for a free pit upgrade! We appreciate all of you who attended the season opener.
5)The season is started! The Tony Hulman Classic with USAC sprints is next on May 21!
