23rd Annual Rich Vogler Scholarship Daytona Party

The Rich Vogler Scholarship Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the 23rd anniversary of our fund raising event. We have been fortunate in our efforts to help over 400 young people to further their education. Our award winners have achieved their goals from technical degrees to Doctorate degrees.

The event will be held at the American Legion Post 331 at 636 E Main St(US 136) in Brownsburg,In on Feb 24 2013. Come watch the Daytona 500 on large screen along with a catered meal from the Pit Stop BBQ. We also have the usual assortment of memorabilia in the live and silent auctions. There’s fun for all with only a $20.00 donation, children 6 to 14 $10.00 and under 6 are free. Doors open at 11 with food served at 12.30 Race activities start around 1.00. This will be the last year for the party in Indianapolis, Mrs Vogler has moved to Chicago. So come out and enjoy the race and some good food and help the Foundation help students with their education.

& we promise a fun day shared with all us cabin fever race fans in Indiana. All the usual fun events we've had at all the other Daytona parties. We have a larger room this year at the Am. Legion, and after a disappointing turnout last year help us pack the place this year. As John stated, it looks like the last Vogler/Daytona 500 party in Indy, so let's send this one out BIG! Besides the huge Live auction, Silent Auction and give aways, you will be served a buffet lunch by the award winning Pit Stop BBQ & Grill (plus the place has a great cash bar). And as a bonus, the first 100 (+ a few more) guests to our party will receive a gift valued equal to the price of admission.
So come out and join us, watching the Daytona 500 is ALOT more fun with a whole group of other race fans then just sitting at home. (you could even join HARF while you're there, an added bonus), see you there, bob.

An update on some new auction items. I just picked up 3 spectacular items last night for the auction at this Sundays Vogler/Daytona 500 party. 1st a rear deck lid (trunk lid) from Mark Dismores "IROC" car he raced at the Speedway in 2000, this is an impressive item for your collection. 2nd an Indy nose and side wings off of a Target-Ganassi car raced at the Speedway, driver unknown at this time, but we are doing some homework. & 3rd is a hood cover off of the old Hannig #62 sprint car (autographed by driver). Along with these 3 big items, we also received a large box of autographed helmet shields, a couple with an autographed glove with it, an autographed Ryan Hunter Rhea team shirt, and a very cool Indy car designed creeper.
All of these items will go to the highest bidder this Sunday at the Daytona 500 party, come join us for the fun, bob.
