(Perris, CA, June 26, 2014) Race fans can save $10.00 off their ticket to the 74th Running of The Turkey Night Grand Prix at Perris Auto Speedway on Thanksgiving night, November 27th. All they have to do is make their advance ticket purchase by October 31st.

Fans can order the discounted tickets online 24 hours a day at the following link http://pas.tix.com/Schedule.aspx?OrgNum=7In . Via telephone, fans can also order tickets 24 hours a day by simply calling 1-800 595-4849. The third and final way to get the $10.00 discount on Turkey Night Grand Prix tickets is to purchase them at The PAS souvenir stand at any race prior to October 31st.

The Turkey Night Grand Prix is the nation’s longest running and most prestigious Midget race. It first took place in 1934 at Gilmore Stadium, now the site of the CBS studios, in Hollywood. It stayed at Gilmore through 1950. From 1951 through 1959 the prestigious race was contested at Gardena Stadium before moving to legendary Ascot Park in Gardena. From 1960 through 1990, the only time the race was not held at Ascot was 1975 when it took place at Speedway 605 in Irwindale. After Ascot closed, the race took place at several different venues including 1996 at The PAS before settling at the Irwindale Speedway from 1999 through 2011. In 2012, the race returned to its traditional roots on dirt at Perris Auto Speedway. 2014 will be the third straight year it has taken place at the famous Riverside County racing facility.

Over the years, some of the biggest names in racing have won the prestigious race. Included on the illustrious list of victors is current NASCAR Sprint Cup rookie star Kyle Larson, Tony Stewart, A.J. Foyt, Parnelli Jones, Jason Leffler, Gary Bettenhausen, Ron Shuman, Dave Darland, Tony Bettenhausen and Bill Vukovich. Arizona’s Billy Boat, Larson and Darland have won the three previous Turkey Night Grand Prix races at The PAS.

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.
