The car below was recently at the Winchester Oldtimers meet. From what I understand it was never raced "back in the day". This is one SWEET re-creation! (I think Lee Greenawalt snapped these photos).

"Actually, this car was never run with USAC, or in any competition for that matter. It was built by Josh Shaw from a NOS frame and is supposed to be a representation of the car from the "Best of Times" series written by Dave Argabright that appears in Sprint Car and Midget every month."

Not a single living motor sports writer out there can even begin to fill his shoes. We're very lucky to have him in our sport, and while one might not always agree with him...you cant question his dedication, knowledge and passion for the sport.
