Not at all...

The thing I don't enjoy about this is obviously he probably won't be racing in open wheel any longer. Secondly all the other drive for diversity drivers who are on this team are not even near his level of talent. Ryan Gifford has been in top notch crate models five years ago, and never won anything. Thirdly this K&N schedule is 14 races at some rather poor paved tracks, although Bristol and Richmond are in there. Not a great follow up to the season to remember that 2011 was.

I still hope he dominates this year, and I am sure he will do just fine in time. I would like to see him go race Indycars, but like the economy that series isn't too strong.

Best of luck to Kyle on his career move. This is another series I will be keeping an eye on.

With a 14 race schedule maybe Kyle will still do some short track racing this year. It would be nice to see him defend his Belleville Nats and Eldora Crowns victories if his NASCAR schedule favors this.

In the words of Nil Lara, "it's money that will make the monkey dance". It is so sad to see our young stars move on. But, who can blame them.

And the chance to have your image on a soda pop vending machine. You can't discount the importance of that!

It does suck to see Kyle moving on. But look at the bright side! This just means that open wheel racing is continuing to produce quality race car drivers! I wish Kyle the BEST of luck on the future of his career. Maybe one day the top 5 in NASCAR points will be represented by all past open wheel drivers. We will get to look forward to the next young talent in the years to come.

At least we will have someone to follow in the stock car ranks! I am happy anytime an ex sprint car driver wins in another series.
