Why is there no Hut 100 on the usac schedule?

As much as the conspiracy theorist will not like this post, it is simple. There was not a promoter that could make any money on the event.

I'm surprised by this as well due to the fact that Tri-City never actually had a chance to put on the event, therefore, doesn't have to reason to say it's a risk or not worth having. They just haven't had the luck with the rain in May.

Since there is no Night Before the 500 USAC Midget race it would be great to have the Hut 100 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds and double bill with the Hoosier Hundred once again like they did in 1987 or so. I don't know how feesable that is.

USAC won't put midgets on a dirt mile again after Springfield I doubt.

If guys won't run t haute they won't run the miles. Sucks in my opinion but not my cars.

My Idea would be to make the Grand Prix at Kokomo the Hut. Make both nights 50 laps and a bonus to win both.

Unlike Smackdown. Which is kinda unique in racing. Grand Prix has no association with Midgets. In fact. Something completely different.

The Hut 100 belongs only at Terre Haute...if it's not going to be there, just let it die.
