2024 Season: Race 1 - April 20th Brownstown (Crate LM). Unlike many I don't discriminate on what racing I choose to watch.

Have to give Congrats to Aaron Fry and his competitors for getting another date at Eldora, Also to Waynesfield and other tracks in Ohio for proving there is real NW interest within the state.

Again, Another Org trying to grow the sport and not change the rules for everyone anytime somebody with a checkbook comes along.

The biggest problem is that it won't draw the number of cars and fans needed to justify a big payout. There's a lot of competition for non-wing cars and fans on any Friday/Saturday night in the middle of the summer. Big payouts at Eldora draw the teams with the bigger budgets, but a lot of the lower budget teams stay home. They actually get more cars for a 2-3K show than for a 10-25K show.

Hence the Sprintacular last October. Around 54 or so nonwings were there.

The lowbuck nationals, invite only, no big names. 2 heat races with the 2nd being totally Inverted. The payout being better than the current Kings Royal. I like to dream.

This was a GREAT night of racing in 2013. Can't wait for all non wing racing in 2014. In Indiana weekly racing is second to none. Make sure to support your local tracks, promoters, drivers , and sponsors . They are the foundation for the sport we all love.
