No it doesnt..and it stinks..but on the bright side hopefully mother nature is getting this all out of her system..have a long summer ahead of us and a lot of racing to come
With the rain we received today along with what was already on the ground, I certainly don't see how any of the dirt tracks could be running this weekend. Also, they are calling for more later in the week so that might just end that conversation period.
I feel for the farmers who now must worry about another short growing season this year. The farm fields are flooded so it will be some time until they can get in the fields and work them. Just means higher prices at the store.

We should be accustomed to April rainouts. By my (informal) count the last two years, on local dirt tracks we ran only 6 of 20 scheduled Sprint Car races in 2011 and 8 of 17 in 2012. I think the best part of that is calls are made early and several tracks have the text message alerts.

Looking forward to a super heavy, tacky track, Dave! I'll put 30 tearoffs on if I need to! Look for me in the Brown's Oil Service, Brad Penn Oil, Dragon Racing Fuels, Buffalo Wings & Rings, American Racer, among my other great supporters, Sweat Auto Center, #1SAC, inferno orange, Maxim, Gaerte.
