Isn't Knoxville, Iowa west of the Mississippi River?

No, the river was rerouted to the west of Knoxville therefore it is now on the East side. Instead of lying about it the News opted to say nothing at all.

Pipeline rerouted the river, so Ia is east of the Mississippi River.
