The annual Gathering Before the Green Flag will be at the Indiana State Museum on January 24-25.
The Indiana State Museum is located on West Washington Street (Next to NCAA Hall of Champions and White River State Park)
Hours for the event are Saturday 9a-5p & Sunday 11a-5pm
There will be Exhibits representing practically every series that races in the state of Indiana including: Sprint Cars, Midgets, Quarter Midgets, Karts, Indy Cars, Unlimited Hydroplanes, Dirt Modifieds, Drag Cars, Dragsters, Legends, Bandeleros, Motorcycles, Mini Sprints and Soap Box derby Cars...plus tracks, series, fan clubs (HARF), broadcasters and manufacturers.
Symposium/Q+A sessions with:
Broadcaster Bob Jenkins - Professional Photographer Ron McQueeney - Panther Racing Indy Car Pit Crew ( all on Saturday) Historian Donald Davidson - Former Driver / ABC-TV Analyst Scott Goodyear (on Sunday)
Motorsports Collectors Showcase (Saturday and Sunday)
4 one hour sessions each day
Attendees can bring in vintage motorsports memorabilia (all forms) for appraisals.
Autographs, helmets, programs, vintage diescast and toys, photos...you name it.
Only 2 items per person per session.
Beginning January 19th parents can pick up free tickets for kids (12 and under) at all participating Central Indiana Kroger stores at the service desk.
