That would have to be California.... none of the other legal ganja states have much sprint car racing....Oh wait... what about MICHIGAN?

It seemed like in the time frame of 1969 to about 1974, maybe a little later, engines were 305's to 350's? Tires were how wide then? Seems that time period was really competitive. I think race tracks would hold up better with narrower tires especially the bullrings. Just my opinion.

That USAC had a national TV contract so we could see some races on TV.

You've never had to follow modifieds then, all that hp and skinny tires, does not a good racetrack make.

I wish someone would develop a safe, effective retaining wall/catch fence system, that every track operator could afford.
